Job summary

47G is seeking a Maintenance Planner to own work order planning and scheduling for our geothermal assets. The role reports to the Director, Maintenance & Reliability and requires close collaboration with Operations and field teams to translate needs into fully planned, resourced work orders.

The Planner will spend substantial time in the field to understand facilities, identify improvement opportunities, and refine plans for reuse across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience with a CMMS (MaintainX, Maximo, SAP) for planning and backlog reporting.
• Ability to estimate labor hours and resources.
• Strong written communication.
• Multi-site coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Convert Work Requests into fully planned work orders with scope, parts, and labor estimates.
• Process PM/CbM work and field Work Requests by priority and asset criticality.
• Create reusable job plans by equipment type for multiple facilities.
• Provide labor and time estimates and improve plans via technician feedback.
• Verify plans with parts on hand, permits, and outage windows.
• Maintain a 4–6 week rolling backlog of planned work across sites.
• Serve as fleet plant historian tracking maintenance history and parts.
