Job summary

Brightcore Energy seeks a drilling specialist to mobilize equipment, perform geothermal drilling, and install test wells for feasibility studies with the Geothermal team. You will ensure safety, organize operations, and support cross-training across crews while outdoor work in all weather is required.

The role involves operating various drill rigs, 100% travel in the Northeast and lifting 60–80 lbs, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years experience in construction or drilling.
• Active Driller's License strongly preferred.
• Active CDL strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30; SST card and Flagger certification preferred.
• NGWA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize drilling equipment to urban and suburban job sites.
• Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling methods.
• Travel 100% in the Northeast region (CT, MA, NY, ME, VT, NH, NJ, MD).
• Install test wells and conduct feasibility studies with the Geothermal team.
• Ensure project safety, organization and equipment security.
• Operate and maintain drill rigs and related equipment.
• Oversee site safety for the drilling crew.
