Job summary

Dig Energy, Inc. in Manchester, NH, is seeking a senior controls engineer to own and execute core challenges for our geothermal drill platform. This hands-on role blends software architecture with field testing, requiring strong C++/Python coding, embedded Linux, and HMI/SCADA experience.

You will work closely with the CTO to design robust, scalable control systems. You will design controls, test and optimize algorithms, create detailed specifications, and support R&D on novel drilling tech,

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing machine controls or automation.
• Experience architecting scalable software from the ground up.
• C++ and Python coding experience for embedded systems.
• UI/HMI design experience for embedded or industrial systems.
• Familiar with SCADA HMIs and embedded Linux tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop controls for a custom drill platform.
• Test, trouble shoot and optimize control algorithms, fault handling, HMI screens and automation.
• Created detailed specifications and documentation.
• Support R&D efforts for novel drilling technologies.
