Job summary

Brightcore Energy seeks a field technician to assist in geothermal drilling operations. You will work closely with the Geothermal Driller, setting up and operating drilling equipment, monitoring performance, and maintaining tools and safety standards at multiple Northeast sites.

The role requires 5+ years in construction or drilling, OSHA 30, and a valid driver’s license with CDL preferred. This position offers a hybrid work model with travel across the Northeast region.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Flagger certification preferred.
• Active driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• 5+ years of construction and/or drilling experience.
• Knowledge of geothermal heat pumps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead driller in daily drilling operations, including setting up and operating drilling equipment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment during the drilling process, ensuring it functions properly and troubleshoot as needed.
• Handle and prepare drilling tools, pipes, and other equipment for use during operations.
• Transport equipment and materials to and from the drill site as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure the worksite is organized and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the drilling team and report issues to the supervisor promptly.
