Job summary

Brightcore Energy seeks a motivated drilling assistant to work outdoors across the Northeast region, gaining hands-on training from experienced drillers on state-of-the-art platforms.

You will assist with demobilization, mixing drilling mud, handling drill pipe and casing, and operating auxiliary equipment while following safety and quality regulations. This full-time role requires travel Monday through Friday, lodging provided, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Safely lift 50+ pounds overhead.
• SST Card and Flagger certification required before start.
• Active driver's license with the ability to obtain CDL.
• Willing to travel 100% in the Northeast region.
• Be prepared for extended periods of outdoor, physical labor.
• Rigging, mechanical, or welding skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with demobilization of equipment.
• Mixing drilling mud and grout.
• Handling drill pipe and casing.
• Operating auxiliary equipment between projects.
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and material.
• Driving company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Assist with drilling procedures on the drilling platform.
• Follow all safety and quality regulations and instructions.
• Keep equipment and drilling platform clean and orderly.
• Perform maintenance tasks at specified intervals.
• Perform inventory (stock intake) as required.
• Hauling, lifting (60-80 lbs.), moving, loading, and digging materials and equipment.
• Travel required 100% in the greater Northeast Region of the United States - CT, MA, NY, ME, VT, NH, NJ.
• Must be willing to be away from home Monday through Friday & scheduled Saturdays.
