Job summary

Brightcore Energy seeks a Driller Assistant to support geothermal drilling operations. You will assist the Lead Driller, set up and operate drilling equipment, and maintain safety and records across job sites in the Northeast region.

The role requires CDL, SST Card, and 5+ years in drilling or construction, with 100% travel toward NY, CT, MA, and surrounding states. Brightcore provides medical/dental/vision benefits and lodging for overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL strongly preferred; SST Card required.
• Prior experience operating drilling equipment.
• NGWA certification preferred; 5+ years in construction or drilling.
• Willingness to travel 100% in the Northeast US.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Driller in daily drilling operations.
• Set up and operate drilling equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot.
• Handle and prepare drilling tools and pipes.
• Transport equipment to and from sites.
• Maintain site safety and cleanliness.
• Keep accurate daily records.
• Support general labor tasks and maintenance.
• Communicate with the drilling team and supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.
• This position has supervisory responsibility.
