Job summary

ENGEO is seeking a Staff Engineer to tackle diverse geotechnical projects. You will be mentored to grow technical expertise, project management, and business development skills across private and public sectors.

The role includes site investigations, lab testing, design calculations, and detailed reporting, with opportunities to travel internationally to Guam, New Zealand, and Australia. Competitive salary and benefits accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required
• E.I.T. (Engineer in Training)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; GIS a plus
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Develop geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specs for design and construction
• Perform geotechnical analysis for foundation systems and ground improvement
• Assess slope stability, settlement, and soil liquefaction using geotechnical software
• Perform forceful modeling using PLAXIS, FLAC, and other tools
• Conduct field investigations including borings, sample collection, and geophysical testing
• Prepare geotechnical reports and other documents
• Observe foundation and ground improvement construction
• Support global projects and travel as needed
