Intertek is seeking a Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join the Westminster, Colorado office. You will perform field logging, soil laboratory tasks, and geotechnical report writing across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to obtain EIT/FE certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with geotechnical software (GeoStudio, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, SLIDE, Settle3 and MSEW) preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical field logging and soil laboratory assignments.
• Prepare geotechnical reports.
• Review project plans and specifications.
• Attend client site meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
• May perform on-site observations and sample collection.
• Work in field and laboratory environments.
• Adhere to safety practices and policies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering
