Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Staff Field Engineer to join our team in Westminster, Colorado. The role involves participating in geotechnical site investigations, assessing laboratory tests, and preparing investigation reports while applying site data to analyses and design.

The successful candidate will have a B.S. in civil/geotechnical engineering from an ABET-accredited program, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel to field sites in varying

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical fundamentals, testing, and design/construction practices.
• Ability to travel/work in the field in all weather conditions and terrains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in geotechnical site investigations and assessment of geotechnical laboratory tests.
• Prepare investigation reports and apply site data to analyses and design.
• Assist with proposals, bid documents, and design reports; keep management informed of progress.
