French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead our Geotechnical Department from our Wall Township, NJ headquarters. You will guide complex projects, strengthen client relationships, mentor technical teams, and drive growth for a northeast engineering firm.

Ideal candidates have a PE license in NJ, 8+ years in geotechnical engineering, and a track record in investigation, analysis, and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
• PE license in New Jersey is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive geotechnical experience with focus on project management and leadership.
• Experience with site investigations, foundation design, soil-structure interaction, and remedial solutions.
• Past experience managing multiple projects and interacting with clients.
• Strong technical expertise and proficiency with geotechnical software tools and project management software.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage geotechnical projects from inception through completion on time and within budget.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Oversee design and analysis of geotechnical aspects including foundation design, slope stability, soil mechanics, earth retaining structures, and groundwater management.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, geologists, and technicians.
• Prepare and review geotechnical investigation reports, feasibility studies, and technical specifications.
• Ensure high quality control and constructive feedback on deliverables.
• Develop project budgets, track costs, and monitor schedules.
• Identify new business opportunities and support proposals and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety/environmental standards.
