Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering seeks a Project Manager for Geotechnical Services in the Charlotte area. You will lead projects from scoping through analysis, reporting, and construction support, coordinating clients, field crews, and reviewers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background with PE/EIT credentials and 5+ years in geotechnical consulting, plus 2+ years in project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Current EIT certification with ability to obtain PE licensure, or PE licensure; NC license or comity.
• Typically 5+ years of progressive geotechnical/geo-structural consulting experience.
• At least 2 years of direct project-management experience in engineering/ construction.
• Experience coordinating subsurface exploration programs and geotechnical analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from scoping to construction support, including budgets, staffing, and client communication.
• Plan and coordinate exploration programs (drilling, sampling, lab tests) and schedules.
• Direct and support project engineers and field staff in evaluation and design recommendations.
• Review deliverables for quality and scope alignment; serve as final reviewer when authorized.
• Develop client relationships and pursue opportunities with BLE teams on proposals and pursuits.
