Job summary

EVS, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to lead projects from investigation through construction. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on utility-scale solar, BESS, substations, and other civil infrastructure.

The role balances technical analysis, client interaction, and project management within a growth-focused team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years' geotechnical experience, PE preferred, and a background in soil mechanics and foundation design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years geotechnical engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, earthwork design.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple geotechnical projects from proposal through completion.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Plan and oversee subsurface investigations and data review.
• Prepare Geotechnical Engineering Reports and design memoranda.
• Provide construction support and client communications.
