Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer 3 to support Power Generation and Infrastructure projects, with optional remote or hybrid work.

The successful candidate will perform geotechnical design tasks and field work under supervision of a licensed professional engineer and/or geologist. The role involves site investigations, boring/logging, foundation and slope design, and coordination of geotechnical activities across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical design tasks for foundations, slopes, and earthworks.
• Experience with site investigations and field instrumentation.
• Ability to coordinate projects with licensed professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical assignments including investigations and designs for foundations, slopes, and retaining structures.
• Develop subsurface investigations and coordinate site characterization.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Travel to field sites for inspections and data collection as needed.
