NV5 is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, PE, GE, to lead geotechnical projects in Torrance, CA. The role involves directing analysis, design, fieldwork, and client interactions for complex hillside, foundations, and seismic tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of senior-level geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with public works and transportation projects is required.
• California PE license is required (GE license or ability to obtain GE).
• Experience in processing foundation reports and as a project manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, reports, field exploration and lab services.
• Provide senior-level review of proposals and reports and ensure commitments to clients are met.
• Direct and develop proposals and presentations and assist in business development activities.
• Supervise geotechnical staff and technicians.
• Actively participate in professional and technical organizations.
