Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform geotechnical laboratory testing on soils and aggregates and to support field testing activities when required. You will work with the Laboratory Manager/Coordinator to maintain workflows, calibration records, and safe operations, delivering accurate test documentation and reports.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of geotechnical materials including soils and aggregates.
• Conduct field testing and observation activities as assigned.
• Transport material samples and associated documentation between project sites and laboratories.
• Document testing activities, observations, and results and prepare reports for Project Managers.
• Review and perform basic analysis of testing data to verify accuracy prior to reporting results.
• Maintain laboratory work areas, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
