Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field technician to perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will coordinate with project managers and client representatives, transport samples to the laboratory, and prepare daily data reports for submission to the Terracon Project Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely communication, with opportunities to learn under supervision and advance

Qualifications

• Experience in basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Ability to document findings clearly for submittal.
• Understanding of safety standards on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate with project manager, client representative, and others regarding requirements and results.
• Transport samples to the laboratory and prepare daily reports for submission.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas; follow safety rules.
