Job summary

HDR is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Transportation Business Group in NY/NJ. You will perform geotechnical analysis and design for infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, and foundations, and interpret subsurface conditions to develop design parameters.

You will develop subsurface investigation and laboratory testing plans, review boring logs and data, prepare geotechnical reports, and coordinate with project managers to meet project goals and client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; PE license required.
5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience with design and analysis.
Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft slope stability, settlement, and deep foundations.
Proficiency with Bentley geotechnical data tools (gINT/OpenGround/LeapFrog).
Strong communication skills and willingness to travel NY/NJ area.

Responsibilities
