Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineering professional to assist in preparing plans, specs, and reports, performing calculations, and supporting design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. You will conduct site visits, collect data, and assist with permitting and coordination with agencies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years geotechnical or related experience, a GA PE license, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Georgia PE license required.
• GDOT project experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
