Job summary

Accura Engineering in Georgia is seeking a Civil Engineer with 2–3 years of geotechnical experience to assist in preparing plans, specifications, and reports. You will perform calculations, support AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting, and conduct field visits to collect data for project delivery.

The role requires an EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office."
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under supervision.
• Support design and drafting using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
