Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer I in the Atlanta, GA area. You will assist in preparing plans, specs and reports, and perform basic analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with 2-3 years geotechnical experience and EIT (or ability to obtain within 12 months). Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office is expected, along with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant geotechnical experience or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Internship or co-op in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing engineering plans, specs, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under supervision of senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients/agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in budgeting and scheduling tasks.
