Job summary

EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking a Geotechnical Driller to operate and maintain drilling rigs, collect soil and rock samples, and support subsurface investigations across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role involves outdoor work, travel to project sites, and collaboration with engineers and field teams.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of drilling experience, and OSHA safety awareness. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience operating geotechnical drilling equipment.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with soil sampling, rock coring, monitoring well installation, and related drilling activities.
• OSHA safety standards knowledge and safe drilling practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain truck-, track-, and ATV-mounted drilling rigs and equipment.
• Perform soil borings, rock coring, groundwater monitoring well installations, test pits, and subsurface investigations.
• Collect, label, document, and preserve soil, rock, groundwater, and environmental samples.
• Read and interpret boring location plans, utility clearances, and project specifications.
• Maintain field logs, drilling reports, and other project documentation.
