Job summary

GeoEngineers, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Driller to assist with geotechnical drilling for onshore and offshore subsurface investigations. You will operate and maintain drilling rigs, collect samples, and guide junior crew members while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires experience with Geoprobe 3230 and other geotechnical equipment, ability to work in varied conditions, and a valid license. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher level of education may substitute for experience.
• 2 years of related experience such as drilling, onshore/offshore construction, or heavy manual labor preferred.
• Experience driving two-ton trucks with a standard transmission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains drilling equipment including Geoprobe 3230, Mobile B58, and ARDCO rigs; collects samples.
• Directs junior drilling crew members and ensures safety in drilling tasks.
• Sets up, takes down, and transports drilling rigs and support equipment for various rigs.
• Cleans drill area and shop, maintains safe working environment.
