Responsibilities

  • Operates and maintains drilling equipment including CME-75 truck mounted drill rigs; collects drilling samples.
  • Directs junior drilling crew members to ensure safe drilling tasks.
  • Assists in setting up, taking down, and transporting geotechnical drilling rigs and support equipment.
  • Maintains clean and safe drill site and shop environment.
  • Handles drilling tools, pipe, cement, bentonite, and other materials.
  • Maintains and repairs drilling equipment as required.
  • Transports materials and well service equipment.
  • Performs shop/warehouse duties such as vehicle maintenance, welding, cutting, and cleaning.
