Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Graduate Engineer focused on CMT and geotechnical services at the Waukesha, WI office. You will support testing and field tasks under supervision, gaining exposure to soils, concrete, and geotechnical projects.

The role requires a ABET-accredited degree, effective communication, and willingness to travel up to 15%. Intertek offers a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth within the professional services division.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited program.
Ability to read and understand work plans.
Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs frequently; may exceed 50 lbs with assistance.
Must be able to work overtime and off shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform observations and testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, etc.).
Operates testing equipment and analyzes data; reports findings.
Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils and concrete specimens.
Prepare and review engineering reports, project plans, specifications.
Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments; may supervise others.
Attend client site meetings and develop project opportunities.
Train technicians and field staff; ensure safety practices are followed.
Interface with contractors and clients and maintain professional relationships.
