Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in Wisconsin is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction materials testing and special inspections in the Waukesha area. You will plan, oversee field and lab operations, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure quality and schedule compliance.

The role requires a civil/geotechnical engineering background, strong communication, and ability to manage budgets and subcontractors while pursuing project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience in Construction Materials Testing and/or special inspections preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand Construction Materials Testing business.
• Conduct and attend project meetings; maintain client relationships.
• Review project setup and prepare proposals for internal and external review.
• Complete contract review and negotiation.
• Monitor project budget and initiate change orders.
• Review, prepare and submit invoices.
• Perform project close-out duties.
• Supervise field personnel and assist with lab/field duties as needed.
