Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a new or recent civil engineering graduate to join our engineering team in Wisconsin. The role supports geotechnical, materials, and testing emphasis with a rotation through field, laboratory, and design tasks.

You will work under licensed engineers, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to projects that range from infrastructure to stadiums and utilities. The program focuses on developing practical skills in field testing, reporting, and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related.
• Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform field related services at least 50% of time during the program field rotation.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform various field and laboratory tests.
• Work independently on specific assignments of limited scope and with engineers and on larger projects as a team member.
• Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects.
• Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects.
• Maintain client communications and build client relations.
• Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review.
• Observe construction in progress and report to project or senior engineer.
• Gain experience relevant to work toward obtaining Professional Engineer license.
