Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Geoscience Data Tech to support the Permian geoscience team in Houston. The role focuses on data management, quality control, GIS mapping, and delivering files, reports, and analyses to support technical work.

You will collaborate across disciplines, manage databases, import/export seismic and well data, and ensure data accuracy for daily oil and gas operations. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in oil & gas with experience in Kingdom and Petra are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and best workflow practices for geoscientists that generate, high-grade, and drill oil and gas opportunities.
• Create and manage well and seismic projects and ensure geoscience staff are accessing current and accurate data.
• Import/Export and quality control of seismic, well, and culture data to and from various applications; syncing data across projects and systems.
• GIS software application support, assisting teams with generating maps and managing and visualizing spatial data.
