Job summary

Crescent Energy Co. in Houston, TX seeks a Sr. Geotech to lead data and project management within the geoscience Portfolio team. You will ensure data quality, manage databases, support GIS mapping, and deliver files and analyses to support technical work and oil & gas operations.

The role collaborates across asset teams, interfaces with external data sources, and maintains confidential records while advancing Crescent's subsurface studies and competitive intelligence maps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 15+ years of oil & gas industry experience.
• Experience with Kingdom and Petra software packages.
• Experience supporting geophysical data management.
• Proficiency with MS Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with public data sources in Texas and New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and best workflow practices for geoscientists.
• Create and manage well and seismic projects and ensure data accuracy across projects.
• Import/Export and quality control seismic, well, and culture data.
• Collaborate with GIS teams to generate maps of spatial data.
• Maintain Crescent’s subsurface studies database and data governance.
