Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks a Senior Geologist to advance development and production of oil and gas reservoirs in South Texas. You will apply geoscience expertise across petroleum systems, stratigraphy, and basin studies to maximize recovery with a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include asset characterization, field development planning, data acquisition coordination, well spacing and drawdown design, and collaboration with development and operations engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Geology, Geophysics or related field.
Ten or more years of Exploration & Production (E&P) or relevant geoscience experience.
Experience in South Texas.
Proficiency with Kingdom software.
Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

Maintain asset characterizations of hydrocarbon volumes, subsurface controls and risks.
Generate optimal field development plans, including delineation of acreage and economic justification for well spacing.
Collaborate with Development team on data acquisition, leasing and drilling projects.
Support Operations Geologist with well planning, pre-spud process and drilling/completions activity.
Design and propose optimal frac designs and drawdown strategies; evaluate competitor activity.
