Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks an experienced Geologist to evaluate development and production of oil and gas reservoirs in South Texas. You will join a multidisciplinary team to optimize asset development, applying geoscience skills across petroleum systems, stratigraphy, and basin studies.

Responsibilities include data analysis of hydrocarbon volumes, creating field development plans, and supporting drilling and completions with integrated geological input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, Geophysics or related field.
• Ten or more years of Exploration & Production geoscience experience.
• Experience in South Texas and knowledge of petroleum systems.
• Proficiency with Kingdom software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset characterizations of hydrocarbon volumes and risks.
• Generate field development plans and evaluate drilling targets.
• Support data analysis for data acquisition, leasing and drilling projects.
• Collaborate with operations for well planning and frac design optimization.
• Provide analysis for non-op activity and acquisition opportunities.
