Job summary

Esri is seeking an Application Developer to join the Geo Experience Center team, building prototype applications for digital cartography, map visualizations, and GIS experiences.

You will work with React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte to create stand-alone apps and reusable UI components, collaborating with core development and SDK teams during release sprints to refine APIs, tooling, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern web application frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte)
• Experience with code management systems and CI/CD
• Foundational understanding of digital cartography, data visualization, or geospatial app development
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Travel up to 25–50% domestically or internationally
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of web experiences for cartographic visualizations and map-based workflows
• Build targeted, stand-alone web applications and reusable UI components using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with core development teams during release sprints, providing API and tooling feedback
