Job summary

CA Mining seeks a Junior Sales Consultant in the Geospatial industry to contribute to growth and profitability through strong customer relations and partnerships. Based in Durban, you will work with management to deliver credible solutions and maintain high service levels.

The position requires 1–2 years of survey experience, a surveying degree, and a willingness to travel nationally; strong communication and presentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Surveying (or equivalent).
• 1–2 years survey experience.
• Sales experience or training is advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of geospatial products (Trimble a plus).
• Understanding of surveying, government, utilities, agriculture and education industries.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of sales best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport; willing to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving sales performance against set standards/targets.
• Maintain group reputation and ensure customer satisfaction by managing delivery.
• Offer quality solutions by researching customer needs with management guidance.
• Develop methods for growth and maintenance of customer base; identify new opportunities.
• Prepare and submit sales forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly.
• Uphold efficient sales processes and accurate CRM records.
• Stay updated with product launches and campaigns; work with marketing and product specialists.
• Build long-term partnerships with regional clients via professional, responsive service.
