Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Services Project Lead to join our Geospatial Field Services team.

This position will be responsible for supporting the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, quality assurance/quality control, and completion of professional services. The role includes training and mentoring of junior staff, client satisfaction, and business development under the direction of the Geospatial and Market Leaders within the Renewables &

Qualifications

5+ years in surveying and/or private utility locating/SUE.
Experience using AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of the Private utility locating/SUE profession.
Strong background in project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluates scopes of work, creates budgets and proposal language based on client requirements.
Manages project teams, tasks, schedules, and resource requirements.
Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates, and utilization.
Evaluates team and individual performance and provides feedback to the Service Leader.
Conducts meetings with project team to evaluate and coordinate the project.
Stays current on service-specific trends, technology, software, hardware, and equipment.
Drives value based on innovation and cross-sells other Westwood services based on client needs.
Establishes, monitors, and maintains procedures and quality standards for the survey group.
