Job summary

GeoDelphi, Inc. dba Whitespace is seeking a Data Scientist to deliver critical geospatial insights for the TacSRT program. You will analyze satellite imagery and commercial data to uncover opportunities and support decision-making for national security missions.

The role includes hybrid work in Alexandria, VA with remote options and up to 10% travel; US citizen required; you will be a W2 employee of GeoDelphi.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science experience with geospatial data analysis.
• Statistical modeling, experimental design, and predictive modeling.
• Experience with data visualization to deliver mission-critical products.
• Ability to communicate findings to stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D to improve data workflows.
• Identify new uses for existing data and design new data processes.
• Implement or enhance software to access and handle data efficiently.
• Conduct scalable data research on and off the cloud.
• Build large and complex data sets.
