GeoDelphi, Inc. dba Whitespace is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the Iris platform, designing, implementing, and maintaining production-grade software across the engine layer.

This position is 100% remote with up to 10% travel to the DMV region and requires US citizenship and contiguity within the United States. You will join a small engineering team reporting to the VP of Engineering and advance geospatial analytics with scalable software.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Expert with at least one language and desire good experience with several others.
• Experience with public clouds such as AWS, Google, Rackspace.
• Experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production software.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain application phases.
• Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Recommend changes to improve established application processes
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Develop application code programs
• Develop and execute unit test plans
• Support formal testing and resolve test defects
• Provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions
