Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Geology (or Master's with 1 year) and can travel up to 50% domestically. The base pay ranges from $87,500 to $120,000 annually, with benefits and incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology with 3 years of geological field or related experience, OR
• Master's degree in Geology with 1 year of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% and work in a field-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Log drill samples and contribute to resource block models.
• Perform core and drill cuttings logging and geological mapping.
• Integrate geological data into maps and cross sections.
• Develop computerized resource models that meet standards.
• Update drill hole databases and deposit maps.
• Supervise drilling, road construction and sample prep contractors.
• Coordinate with Metallurgists for sample testing and ore type development.
• Map surface and underground geology.
• Assist in drilling program development and budget planning.
• Advise site management on programs and regulations; maintain regulatory knowledge.
• Perform other duties as required.
