Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Geology leader to oversee exploration, resource modeling, development and mine geology programs at the site. You will coach personnel, guide drill programs, and develop models that meet corporate standards.

The role requires a strong background in geological analysis, budgeting, and safety, with supervisory experience and cross-disciplinary coordination across mine operations. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related Scientific discipline; seven years of Geology experience OR Master's degree in Geology with five years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to the Geology department.
• Initiate and direct drill programs and resource models to meet standards.
• Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets for projects.
• Coordinate with Mine Operations and long-range planning.
• Ensure safe work environment and communicate performance standards.
