Job summary

Ascension Federal Services, Inc. is seeking candidates for on-site GEOINT IT support in San Antonio, TX. The role connects local users with the enterprise support team to ensure rapid issue resolution for GEOINT workstations and applications.

You will perform on-site break/fix, manage security configurations, coordinate with Fort Gordon helpdesk, and document incidents. A TS/SCI clearance and ITIL/Security+ are required; travel and weekend on-site coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in user and field support with independent problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundation and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent on-site break/fix and advanced troubleshooting for GEOINT workstations and applications.
• Resolve SOCET GXP, operating-system, hardware, and local connectivity issues; coordinate with the Fort Gordon helpdesk.
• Maintain secure system configurations, equipment accountability, and detailed incident and repair records.
• Install and test equipment and software, coordinate vendor repairs, and train users.
• Evaluate upgrades and workflow improvements; guide support personnel on complex technical problems.
