Job summary

Ormat in Reno, NV seeks a geochemist to support exploration, development and operations of geothermal resources. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and prepare technical insights through reports and presentations.

The role requires a Master of Science or Engineering in a relevant subject, strong data skills, and experience with geochemical modeling. On-site work in Reno with field activities and regulatory data support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in geochemistry, geology, or related field.
• Experience with geochemical modeling and data analysis.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply geochemistry to support exploration, development and operations of geothermal resources.
• Prepare technical insights via reports and presentations using company templates.
• Manage data in internal systems and perform data quality checks.
• Coordinate field sampling, data management, and geochemical modeling.
• Collaborate with Geochemists on project tasks and literature reviews.
• Support compliance and regulatory data submissions as needed.
• Contribute to exploration and sampling programs to grow portfolio.
