Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Project Specialist in Mankato, MN, to lead complex genset development from concept through production launch. You will establish architecture, requirements, and direction while aligning performance, quality, cost and schedule across global teams.

You will drive technical decisions, manage risks, and oversee verification and production readiness, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver a robust power solutions program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design and development in power generation or related industries.
• Experience leading complex development programs through full lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (UL/NFPA/IEC/EPA/CE) and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional, global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical leader and engineering authority for genset programs from concept to production launch.
• Define architecture, requirements, and direction while balancing performance, quality, cost and schedule.
• Lead cross-functional integration across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software, Validation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Drive plans, reviews, stage-gate readiness, and key technical decisions while mitigating risks.
• Oversee verification, validation, design changes, and production readiness activities.
