Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline with 7+ years of product design and development experience in power generation, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline with 5+ years of product design and development experience in power generation, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial applications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline with 3+ years of product design and development experience in power generation, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial applications
- JD/PhD Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical leader and primary engineering authority for assigned genset development programs, owning technical execution from concept through production launch.
- Establish product architecture, engineering requirements, and technical direction while ensuring alignment to performance, quality, cost, schedule, and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional integration across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software, Validation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Configuration teams to deliver fully integrated, manufacturable, and serviceable products.
- Drive engineering plans, design reviews, stage-gate readiness, and key technical decisions while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating program risks.
- Oversee verification, validation, design changes, and production readiness activities, while partnering with stakeholders to resolve complex challenges, communicate program status, and support engineering team development.
