Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Mankato, MN seeks a Controls Engineer Specialist to lead the architecture of control system platforms and HMIs, and to steer software development for sustainable power solutions worldwide.

You will coordinate with MTU hardware interfaces, design for generators, microgrids, and fuel-cell projects, and drive integration across global teams, requiring strong leadership and deep control-system expertise.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required.
• 7 years of electrical/controls or electronics engineering experience, or 11 years of relevant experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel for business trips (20%).

Responsabilidades

• Be the lead architect for control system platforms and HMI/multi-touch touchscreen development for generator panels and SCADA cabinets.
• Lead development of controller software for sustainable solutions like Microgrids, Battery Containers and Fuel Cells.
• Define interfaces between MTU hardware (ECUs, panels, PLCs) and balance-of-plant systems globally.
• Develop special customer MTU control system applications.
