The primary responsibility of this job is to assemble and band heat exchanger units using mechanical jigs and fixtures. Assembler will be responsible for performing setup of the fixture. Operator is responsible for running the necessary amount of parts to meet production requirements working off of Bill of Material.
Operator is responsible for product ID and traceability, inspection status, housekeeping, safety, nonconforming product, and scrap. Accountable for quality of own work through the use of Statistical Process Control and other methods of measurement to insure process capability. Responsible for measuring and recording quality checks per PCP utilizing quality forms.
