Job summary

Gene by Gene is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to lead the B2B customer support lifecycle from pre-sales scoping to system integration and ongoing upgrades. This hybrid role sits within Technical Operations and requires coordination across 3PL, laboratory, and delivery workflows, including external onboarding and API integration steps.

We value strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of service delivery in a laboratory or SaaS

Qualifications

• Proven familiarity with web portal configurations, CRMs, API integrations, and technical data workflows.
• Knowledge of 3PL, laboratory operations, API integrations, and delivery workflows.
• Strong project management skills coordinating cross-departmental teams to deadlines.
• Ability to translate complex technical specs for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, map, and validate end-to-end operational and technical workflows across 3PL, lab, and delivery.
• Vet technical requirements, API capabilities, and operational boundaries for prospective deals.
• Direct client onboarding, portal setup, and API integration steps.
• Lead mid-lifecycle account changes: product switchovers and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with Data Engineering, Lab, Commercial, and 3PL to meet go-live schedules.
