Job summary

Gene by Gene is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to lead our B2B customer support function. The role spans pre-sales scoping through system integration and ongoing upgrades, acting as the bridge between promises and delivery.

This hybrid position requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with 9-5 weekday schedule and experience in a laboratory or SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical project management (4+ years).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline as listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end operational and technical workflows spanning 3PL, lab processing, and delivery.
• Lead external client onboarding including portal setup and API integration steps.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain go-live schedules and performance.
• Manage mid-lifecycle changes, product switchovers, and system upgrades.
