Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS seeks an Implementation Scientist to lead customers through the successful deployment of our genomic analysis platform. You will drive planning, sample selection, configuration, training, and adoption via our MaxCare methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams across regions.

The role is field-based and supports customers across the US, with approximately 30% travel. A strong background in genomics and project management is essential to deliver scalable, data-driven

Qualifications

• Degree in genetics, molecular biology or oncology or equivalent.
• Direct experience with NGS and bioinformatics is essential.
• Ability to translate lab, data and regulatory requirements into implementations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience in commercial technical support in genomics is highly valuable.
• Proven project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through successful implementation from planning to adoption.
• Draft Statements of Work and manage timelines for MaxCare-like programs.
• Provide onboarding support and technical training for SOPHiA GENETICS solutions.
• Collaborate across implementation, field applications, technical and commercial teams.
• Translate wet-lab and data requirements into practical implementation decisions.
• Support setup activities and partner with specialists on complex needs.
