Job summary

Predicta Biosciences in Somerville, MA is seeking a Client Services Specialist to manage genomic testing orders, ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling, and maintain NetSuite records with patient and provider information.

You will liaise with patients, physician offices, and billing teams, verify consent and signatures, track milestones from sample receipt to report delivery, and support QA initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in customer/support roles within healthcare operations.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Understand HIPAA regulations.
• Experience with electronic systems or CRM platforms.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (i.e. EPIC).
• Experience communicating with clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical laboratory with processing genomic test requisitions and verify signatures and consent documents.
• Review and process incoming electronic and paper-based requisitions.
• Verify patient consent, physician signatures, and supporting documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain NetSuite by documenting actions and records for testing orders and patient data.
• Track milestones from sample receipt to requisition completion and reporting.
• Serve as primary contact for patients, guardians, and physician offices.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve documentation issues, and coordinate sequencing of genomic testing services.
• Support QA initiatives by documenting non-conformances and process improvements.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data privacy in all handling of patient information.
• Coordinate the distribution and fulfillment of genomic sample collection kits.
