Job summary

Pearce is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers across the region. This role is ideal for an independent, self-starter who is willing to travel and be on-call as needed.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair generator systems, install components, read blueprints, and work with electrical and mechanical equipment while adhering to safety standards and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of generators; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls.
• Be on-call 24/7 and respond to alarms when needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and attend training sessions.
