Job summary

Energy Systems in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced field service technician to maintain and repair Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS) and related equipment for industrial customers.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, perform scheduled maintenance, read schematics, and provide detailed reports. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on site, and comply with safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; 4 years EPSS servicing experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of NFPA and local regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled generator repairs after hours as directed.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on generators.
  • Read manuals, schematics and work orders to perform maintenance.
  • Detect faults and report them to the service manager.
  • Stay current on NFPA and state regulations for EPSS.
  • Create reports for all work in FieldServio.
  • Communicate findings by phone, email, and in person.
  • Conduct equipment commissioning for industrial and MPS products.
