Job summary

Energy Systems in Marlboro, NY seeks a Field Service Technician to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS). You will read manuals, interpret schematics, and diagnose issues on-site with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, commissioning of equipment, and reporting findings promptly. A valid driver's license, 4 years of EPSS experience, and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required for candidacy.
  • 4 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS systems.
  • Valid Driver License and ability to obtain Generac certification.
  • Knowledge of NFPA and safety standards is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and repair of generators.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs including after-hours work.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on EPSS equipment.
  • Read manuals and schematics to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Create reports for all work performed in FieldServio.
  • Commission equipment and communicate findings to stakeholders.
